Milan Reid, owner of Milan's Real Philly Cheesesteaks and Hoagies, established a taste of Philadelphia right here in Bear DE, in October 2023. 

Growing up in West Philly we lived on and for cheesesteaks and hoagies almost every day.  Living in Deleware for over 30 years the search for an authentic Philly cheesesteak in Delaware proved  to be non-existent.  I like most Philadelphians settled for knock off steaks and subs, or would take that hour long drive back home to get a Real cheesesteak or hoagie, hence the name Milan’s Real Philly Cheesesteaks and Hoagies. 

However, embracing the philosophy that success comes from filling a void, Milan's Real Philly Cheesesteaks and Hoagies was born. 

Milan’s has not only met the longing for a genuine real Philly Cheesesteaks and Hoagie but has also introduced Delawareans and others to it. Now Delaware residents and the Delaware residents that moved from Philly can now enjoy what we all know and love without leaving DE.
